Craig Francis Power is a visual artist and writer from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Working in hooked rugs, performance, and video, Power explores kitsch, tourism culture, 1980s Sci-Fi movies, the absurd, and labour as they relate to the determination of artistic value and “bad” taste. While he was here he took part in Drink and Draw events at Roddens bar and facilitated a rug hooking workshop.
