“Point of Perspective” features 64 works submitted by 40 artists nationwide, all members of Artlink, an artist-led organisation based at Fort Dunree.
It is a story about the lightness of being through the multifaceted lens of the human experience. The exhibition flows from the sheer awesomeness of the cliffs and seaside landscape, into gallery 1, through the glass hallway (or sacred passageway) and into gallery 2, where the energy and presence of works uplift the curiosity of the experiencer to gaze back out into the landscape in a new way.
The exhibition has been curated by Lindsay Merlihan, Board member at 126 Gallery, Galway.
The artists were encouraged, through the process of art making, to reach the highest point of perspective, allowing the process to take them on a journey, elevating them to a place of revelation.
