This sculpture was inspired by the history of Swan Park, made in a metal ribbon shaped line, using abstracted images and shapes to represent events in the history and culture of the area. The sculpture is a long linear story made from powder coated steel in a bright blue colour to echo the local seascape.

Along the undulating design the waves of the sea change to the river roaring to create the power Buncrana was famous for. The line moves to form the shape of the path of the Crana River. Other local and cultural symbols include the six arches of the Crana Bridge this then moves into the shape of flames to symbolise the Imbolc section of the design, ending with the design going back to ocean waves.
The shape is similar to a twisting ribbon echoing the history of the textile mills in the area.
