Kevin Harkin
I am a retired Lawnmower mechanic and have a lifetime of skills repairing and servicing garden machinery. From a young boy I always loved deer and have a keen interest in wildlife, gardening, fishing, and photography. I left school at sixteen worked at everything from potato gathering, gardening, building sites, shoe factory. In recent years I began creating deer sculptures at my home using scrap metal from old farm gates and different materials such as wood, metal, plastic, and stone.
As interest grew in my sculptures, I began show casing them at local events Such as St Patricks day parades, Halloween, Art Exhibitions
