Coiste Céim Aniar, Na Dúnaib on Thursday 24th March 6-7pm

In this project artists Denzil Browne and Sean O'Cuireain will workshop analog - photograms, pinholes - and digital - digital animations and web - with young teenagers from the Gaeltacht areas of Downings and Fanad and the groups and Coiste Céim Aniar, Na Dúnaibh. Over several workshops at Downings, Fanad, and at the Artlink darkroom and workshop facilities, the young people have learnt to do more with photos than just point and click and Facebook, and looked at the real art of photography and what lies beyond digital photos. They will have made cameras from scrap material, how to make, develop and print their own photos, learnt digital animation skills and developed their own photos and archive photos to explore their own, their family’s and their area’s history.

The launch of a website and exhibition concludes the project at Coiste Céim Aniar, Na Dúnaib on Thursday 2th4 March 6-7pm.
